Do I Live in the PRC Delivery Area (PRCDA)?

PRC pays only for people who live in the PRC delivery area (PRCDA). In December 2023 IHS merged the areas of the seven Mid Atlantic tribes, the Rappahannock among them, into one region spanning most of Virginia, 16 Maryland counties and Baltimore City, and 21 North Carolina counties.
Along the Rappahannock River, that includes King and Queen, Essex, Caroline, Richmond, King George, Middlesex, Lancaster, and Westmoreland counties.
Not on the list? Ask the PRC office what your options are.

Why Should I Pick Thundermaker for My Treatment and Recovery in Arizona?

Your Tribe has been bringing land at Fones Cliffs on the Rappahannock River back into its care. Recovery can be a homecoming of its own, and for many people it starts best far from the places tied to their drinking or using. Time away from Indian Neck clears out the triggers and the easy access, so you can rest, think clearly, and build new habits before you return.
Thundermaker is Native owned and operated, with Native staff who know recovery firsthand. Our Cultural and Traditional Program sets ceremony, sweat lodge, drum, gardening, and traditional arts beside licensed counseling. You may take part in the Partial Hospitalization Program (PHP), the Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP), or individual and family counseling.
When it is time to go home, we help line up support near Indian Neck so you keep your footing.
Every person who reaches out is welcomed as a relative.
