Partial Hospitalization Program

Partial Hospitalization Program (PHP) in Prescott, Arizona

Most of the day in treatment. Home every night. Our Partial Hospitalization Program is the most structured care we offer: counseling, group, and ceremony filling your day, in a Native owned program that treats you as a relative.

PHP is the highest level of outpatient addiction treatment. You spend most of the day in treatment on several days each week and go home at night.

It fits when weekly counseling is too little and you want the structure of a full treatment day while staying close to home and family.

Weekly counseling is too little. Your days need structure.

You have tried to cut back or quit and could not hold it. The empty hours are where it goes wrong. You need a full day of support and you still want to sleep at home. Treatment should feel like coming home to your people.

What Does a PHP Day Look Like?

Your exact schedule is set at your assessment. A day usually holds all of these.

  1. MorningSmudge and a check in with your circle. Then group: relapse prevention, coping skills, and the hard conversations.
  2. MiddayA meal at the table with your relatives. Food sovereignty and the garden are part of the work here.
  3. AfternoonIndividual counseling, trauma therapy or EMDR when it fits, and cultural work: drum, traditional arts, talking circle, and sweat lodge on scheduled days.
  4. EveningYou go home. You practice what you learned where life actually happens, then bring it back to group.

What Happens When I Step Down to IOP?

As you get steady, your counselor and you decide together when to step down to our Intensive Outpatient Program. Fewer hours, same team, same circle. Nobody gets dropped off a cliff.

Before you finish, you leave with a plan you helped write, built with your family and, with your consent, your tribal or referring office.
