Hunter Thundercloud, Wᾳᾳkejahuuga, is a proud member of Ho Chunk Nation, Thunder Clan. In 2009, he started his first construction business and property management company. Within 4 years, Hunter owned and operated 12 affordable housing units, fueling his passion for entrepreneurship and advocacy for under privileged communities. This passion continued on throughout his lifetime of work.

In 2019, Hunter Thundercloud started Overall Moving and Overall Construction. Overall Moving has grown into a seven-figure business, increasing by at least 40% YTD each year and this year projected to reach 70% YTD, making it the largest moving company in the Quad City Area. Overall Construction, another seven-figure business, has ventured into remodeling, custom home building, and is one of the primary construction vendors for the City of Prescott.

As his other businesses continued to grow, Hunter started Thundermaker Cultural Recovery, a 501(c)(3) non-profit that advocates for the preservation of traditional Native American practices through recovery and holistic wellbeing. In 2024, Thundermaker Cultural Recovery spoke at 6 national awareness events, dedicated multiple healing spaces in Arizona mental health treatment facilities, donated a substantial sum to the Kayenta women's shelter, and facilitated 52 sweat lodges that hosted over 500 participants. Starting as a humble, passion project, Hunter's vision has now awakened a new venture, Thundermaker Wellness.

Thundermaker Wellness is a premier Native American owned and operated wellness center, located in Prescott, AZ. Serving American Indian and Alaska Native people with high-quality, evidence-based mental health and substance use treatment, strategically woven with traditional practice to foster holistic wellbeing. Our People, Our Recovery is not just a tagline for Hunter, it is the truth he carries throughout all of his passions.
