Meet the Relative Support Specialist

Solomon serves as a Relative Support Specialist with Thundermaker Wellness, offering dedicated support to relatives through the values that guide his own recovery—humility, teachability, and a commitment to being the father and grandfather his family can be proud of. As a member of the Muscogee Creek Nation, he weaves traditional practices and cultural values into everyday living, helping others reconnect with identity as a pathway to healing.

Deeply community‑minded, Solomon consistently looks for where he can contribute to the wellbeing of the whole, not just himself. He is always willing to show up, lend a hand, and be of service to our people and families in recovery.

Solomon brings a rich background to his role, including studies in Bible college, experience as a fire starter, Wellbriety Talking Circle facilitator, and conference speaker. His personal recovery journey is central to his work. From self‑help groups to sweat lodge, from Wellbriety to talking circles and ultimately ceremony, he honors each step as part of the process that shaped him. His presence in this field offers lived experience, spiritual grounding, and a powerful message of possibility—“an example of what Creator can do with any of us.”

Outside of work, Solomon finds balance in nature—spending time in the woods, by lakes and rivers, on road trips, and attending ceremony. Through his journey with Thundermaker, he hopes to deepen his understanding of ceremony, continue learning his tribe’s ancestral ways, and carry forward teachings to the next generation.
